Hado Creations
I am Eric Hado, an Artist, Craftsman, Author of Motocross Brother, and Technician. Since I was a young boy I have been touched by clever, imaginative, and creative works, whether they are in the form of a story, a machine, or a work of art. For me, there is no line of separation between a beautifully designed and crafted tool and a work of so called “fine art.” Either can move me to want to touch it, hold it and gaze at it while deep inside of me, a subtle emotion awakens and stirs. The world around me provides inspiration to incorporate a wealth of materials, textures and objects into my creations. If someone looks at my work and says within or aloud, “that’s neat”, I’ve achieved my goal.
Sculpture
Steel is often thought of as hard, cold, and unyielding. However it can be worked into shapes, textures and colors which go beyond these limits. I strive to create metal sculpture which conveys a softness found in nature. The incorporation of driftwood adds rich textures and subtle tones which contrasts with, and complements the smooth, hard, steel, copper, and aluminum.

Motocross Brother
Four years of Motocross racing with my son Ryan, provided me with a wealth of experiences and emotions to build a book upon. Unable to find a realistic and exciting motorcycle book for my son to read, I was motivated to write my own. Motocross Brother is an entertaining, fast paced read. It conveys the excitement and trill of motocross racing within a story of a wild spirited boy who bonds with his distant father and half brother.
