Biography

Sunday outings to museums and parks in the New York City area with my parents and siblings stimulated my imagination at an early age. Attending Brooklyn Technical High School, and then City College of New York laid the foundation for a technical career at IBM, and later Consumers Union. My interests evolved over the years from wood working, to home improvements, furniture building, black smithing, wooden boat building, engine and motorcycle mechanics, writing, to metal working and sculpture. All of these interests were self-taught. Each complemented and built upon the other to provide me with a wealth of skills which allow me to explore a multitude of creative paths.
I live in the Hudson Valley with my wife, two of my three children and multitude of tools and materials.
